A digital space that combines the building with useful information.
Quay Fitness was captured to create an interactive digital record of the gym, allowing the facility, equipment and layout to be explored remotely.
The model was developed beyond the initial capture by connecting information directly to locations within the space, including embedded video tutorials attached to individual pieces of gym equipment.

Move through the facility, explore the equipment and select the interactive tags positioned throughout the model to access additional information and video content.
The Capture

One capture. A navigable digital record of the entire facility.
Quay Fitness was captured systematically to create an interactive representation of the gym, including the main training areas, equipment, circulation and supporting spaces.
The completed model provides remote access to the facility and a visual reference that can be returned to at any time.

Turning the digital model into a useful information resource.
Interactive Mattertags were positioned alongside individual pieces of gym equipment, allowing relevant information to be connected directly to its physical location within the model.
Video tutorials were embedded within the tags, enabling users to select a piece of equipment and access guidance on its use without leaving the virtual environment.
This demonstrates how information can be connected spatially to a digital building record rather than existing separately in documents, folders or external resources.

More than a virtual walkthrough.
The completed model combines the physical environment with useful digital content, creating an interactive resource that can support familiarisation, training and communication.
The same principle can be applied to other environments; connecting manuals, documents, videos, notes or other information directly to the rooms, equipment and assets they relate to.
