Rocklands is a large residential development overlooking Tolcarne Beach in Newquay, comprising 43 apartments, three retail units and a basement car park across two wings.

Digital Space Mapping was commissioned to capture the development, creating a comprehensive digital record of the building that could be explored and reviewed remotely.

The Capture

    The scale and configuration of Rocklands required the building to be captured systematically across multiple floors and two separate wings.

    More than 1,200 individual scan positions were recorded over five days, covering:

    The development was initially captured in three sections before being combined into a single navigable digital model.
